Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Adhere to OH&S, Environmental and Quality company procedures and report any non-conforming situations and or potential risks.
- Perform First Off Inspections according to procedures, including making and distributing First Off & Leak Test samples and following up online clearance procedures.
- Perform in Process Visual, Dimensional, Physical and Functional inspections according to PCP, SOP and Work Instructions using:
Verniers

GO NOGO Gauges

Weighing Scales

Wall thickness meters

Drop test, Leak test Equipment.
- Perform Final Inspections on finished goods from the production floor, going to stores and update the production schedule.
- Perform Inwards Goods Inspections according to specifications and directions of QA Manager.
- In case of non-conforming processes, isolate, identify and organise disposition of suspect goods. If unable to fix shut down the machine.
- Oversee the QC capabilities of production staff and allocate the correct resources to the manufacturing processes. Back up process workers when they have got their breaks.
- Give on the job training to production staff and report to the management about the outcome and follow up.
- Organise QA documentation at machines and workstations and get filed back again when production is finished.
- Ensure all relevant quality and production details are handed over effectively and orderly to the next shift.

**Requirements**:

- Good understanding of processing production processes such as extrusion blow moulding, plastic injection moulding and experienced with working in a manufacturing environment.
- Follow procedures and directions of management and communicate to production staff and management about quality issues.
- Be organised, clean working, have an eye for detail and have a process thinking mindset. Be an example for production regarding safety and housekeeping manners.
- Be able to deal with stressful situations, be multitask and understand the interaction between production and quality.
- Be able to communicate about production & quality problems in an orderly and relevant way.
- Be able to oversee and manage the manufacturing plant quality-wise, make decisions and prioritise work.
- Be able to coordinate and oversee rework & recheck activities.
- In non-conforming situations, act according to procedures and be persistent in getting quality problems fixed and follow up on them regardless of the outcome.
- Have a proactive attitude and think in the prevention of quality issues.
- Good knowledge of the English language in writing, speaking, reading, and listening.

**Salary**: 25-28 per hour

**Salary**: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wetherill Park, NSW 2164: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
