We are seeking motivated, service-driven digital forensics professionals to join our Cyber Governance and Operations branch.

As a **Digital Forensics Officer**, you’ll support forensics investigations as directed by your investigations lead. You’ll operate under best practice and legislative requirements during investigations and will gather and preserve electronic evidence from IT devices in a format suitable for presentation in a court of law.

You’ll undertake a range of activities and will engage with highly sensitive, confidential, inappropriate and explicit material or images. You may be required to undertake specialist or technical research and analysis and provide specialist advice. You may be required to attend court to provide evidence.

You will undertake training and be provided with support to obtain qualifications as a Forensic Officer. You may attend conferences and external events to broaden your networks and experience.

You’ll be required to attend field work at different locations across the country to assist in ATO investigations. This will require you to travel interstate, work overtime and potentially include overnight stay when travelling. In addition to this, you will be required to work outside of the ordinary hours of duty on an ad hoc basis and attend regular mandatory counselling sessions as required.

These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in **Brisbane CBD, Melbourne CBD or Sydney CBD**.
