We have full-time, part-time, and casual/contract positions available, servicing the Sydney metro area and Greater Sydney, with occasional work at our Thornleigh workshop. **Role Overview**: As a Field Service Technician, you will work closely with our Service Manager and Owner to deliver expert service and repairs to commercial dishwashing equipment. Your day will involve visiting multiple client sites across Sydney, providing diagnostic services, repairs, and preventative maintenance for dishwashers and glasswashers. Key responsibilities include: - Servicing & Diagnosis: Conducting breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial dishwashers and glasswashers at client sites across the Sydney metro area. - Refurbishment: Working at our Thornleigh workshop to refurbish second-hand machines in preparation for resale. - Equipment Delivery & Installation: Transporting and installing new equipment, delivering detergents and spare parts, and performing basic plumbing and electrical disconnections/reconnections as needed. - Service Vehicle Management: Ensuring the company vehicle is well-stocked, organized, and maintained. - Team Support: Assisting other technicians and ensuring safety and quality standards are always met. **What We Offer**: - Competitive salary with opportunities for commissions and bonuses - Fully stocked service vehicle (take it home with you) - Company mobile phone - Comprehensive training and development in the first month, with performance-based progression **Requirements**: - At least 3 years of previous employment, with 1 year of continuous service with a single employer. - A valid driver’s license (manual or automatic). - Ability to speak and understand English to an acceptable standard. - Availability to work between 15-40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm), with occasional Saturday availability (8:00am - 1:00pm, overtime paid at 1.5x rate). - Must be legally able to work in Australia and available for an in-person interview within 10 days of being contacted. **Desirable Skills & Experience**: - Fault finding and experience with wiring diagrams and schematics. - Knowledge of electrical safety practices. - Technical proficiency with hand tools, drills, grinders, etc. - Experience in commercial refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, or general mechanical work. - Experience with mechanical pumps and motors is a plus. - A certificate in Restricted Electrical Work (Disconnect/Reconnect) would be advantageous. - Strong navigation skills for efficient travel across Sydney. **How to Apply**: For an initial conversation to check your suitability for the role, please call 02 9999 3788 for a quick 5-minute conversation.
