Field Service Technician

**The Opportunity**:
Due to customer growth, our awesome team at Fairfield are after 4 Field Service Technicians to join the fam to service our clients in the surrounding Sydney region. This position is to provide skilful and efficient maintenance and repair of Komatsu customer equipment and contribute to a professional team environment by ensuring high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency through your efforts.

As a Field Service Technician at Komatsu you'll be supported not just professionally but personally too. Did you know Komatsu is an RTO? This means we are able to support your learning with a range of courses including trade upgrades and the best news is you're paid to do it. Our employees are encouraged to complete 2 courses per year. We also provide a car, phone and laptop/tablet and laundered uniforms for all our field service employees.

Komatsu also supports our employees through the option of flexible work arrangements, these arrangements can include roster options, variable start times and this can be discussed throughout the recruitment process.

**Roster**:5 days x 7.6 hr days + plenty of overtime available and OT rates - however additional roster options are available so please ask during the recruitment process (this may include 4 day weeks or 7/7)

**Location**:Fairfield Branch (however your start point for the day is from home, it is not necessary to drive to the branch every day)

**Annualised Approximate Wage**: From $157000 + superannuation (50 hours p/w) + Allowances, penalties and any additional overtime.

**Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Mobile Plant Mechanic Trade Certificate (Cert 3 Mobile Plant) complimented by your mechanical fitter qual (HD Mechanic/Fitter)
- Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience, preferably with Komatsu equipment, and field service exposure, including breakdowns and diagnostics, will also be highly regarded within the construction and mining sector.
- A minimum of C class Licence
- Auto Electrical experience, qualifications, and diagnostic skills will be highly regarded.
- Working at heights qualification would be great but not crucial.
- Ability to follow required job scope & critical path.
- Safety focused mindset is paramount.
- Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- A proven high level of customer service
