Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals in a commercial kitchen, adhering to dietary requirements and food safety standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of HACCP, food allergies, and food safety protocols.
• Work autonomously with excellent time management to deliver high-quality meals.
• Follow policies and procedures, taking instruction from supervisors.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Show compassion and understanding when working with individuals with mental health challenges.
• Work with fresh food and ingredients to create nutritious, flavorful meals.

Essential Requirements:

• Recent police clearance.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a cooking role.
• Commercial kitchen experience.
• HACCP knowledge and food safety certification.
• Trade qualification or Food Safety Certificate.
• Strong understanding of dietary requirements and food allergies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently.
• Compassionate approach when working with individuals with mental health issues.
• Reliable, efficient, and well-organized.
