**APS 4 Paralegal**:
Our client is seeking an engaging Paralegal for an initial period of 6 months to be seconded to a federal government agency.

**$360 to $450 daily rate including super** Canberra Geelong Melbourne Sydney Brisbane locations considered

APS 4 Paralegal | Initial 6 month contract with the possibility of an additional 6 months

**The Role**

Our client is seeking an engaging Paralegal for an initial period of 6 months to be seconded to a federal government agency.

**The Responsibilities**

The responsibilities for the role will include:

- under supervision, drafting correspondence to external stakeholders who have made disclosures under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2013;
- maintaining complete and accurate LEX records;
- assisting with document retrieval and reviewing tasks relevant to investigations;
- monitoring an inbox;
- being timely, reliable and working under pressure;
- assisting with the preparation of reports relating to the status of disclosures; and
- any other legal support duties as required by the Agency to support continuous improvement activities.

**The Requirements**

The successful applicant will ideally be in the advanced stages of completing tertiary qualifications in law or a related discipline.

Previous experience working with requests under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2013 or in a federal government department would be highly regarded. Strong communication and IT Systems skills are essential.
