About the job:
The Red Hat Enterprise Sales team is looking for an Inside Sales Account Representative to join us based in Sydney, Australia. In this role, you will support Red Hat's Enterprise Sales Account Managers (EAM) in the Telecommunications Segment in driving comprehensive Enterprise offerings into the assigned territory/account by identifying, nurturing and supporting EAM to create and close opportunities. This is a great opportunity to work with multicultural internal and external teams to improve business and create solutions that will serve Red Hat and our top-tier customers.
What you will do:
- Drive incremental sales by partnering with Account Managers in activities like lead routing, inbound demand response, CRM tracking, demo/meeting coordination, contract and pricing support, and renewals support
- Manage forecasts and pipeline, record sales activity, schedule follow-up activities as needed and track customer data using CRM tools
- Execute lifecycle selling process for all renewals, drive risk and adoption assessments, drive renewal execution and closure
- Work with entire sales team, partners, Finance, Bid Desk, Legal, Business Units and Operations to support quotations, price negotiations, contract development, and order fulfillment, ensuring compliance with internal processes
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in business administration, marketing, or a technical discipline
- 3+ years of experience directly supporting an outside sales representative
- 3+ years of successful quota-carrying sales experience
- 3+ years of solutions sales experience in software or high-tech offerings and services
- Industry familiarity with open source principles is a plus
