**Position Summary**:
Within the Australian Customer Excellence Team at Elanco Animal Health, the purpose of the Inside Sales Representative is to drive sales with Elanco products within an assigned geography, mainly through virtual tele
- and videoconferencing. The Inside Sales Representative will utilise our Customer Value Selling (CVS) model, territory management and digital marketing to create an exceptional customer experience while maximising sales performance.
**This role is a 1-Year fixed duration contract.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Primary focus 100% vet customers may be expanded to include other species.
- Minimum 50% “own time” B,C,D clinics, remaining 50% Territory Manager (TM) support on A&B clinics.
- Lead generation for TM across all customers.
- Develop and manage long term relationships with key veterinary practices to uncover needs, identify opportunities Target and generate recommendations to achieve sales targets.
- Manage relationships with targeted veterinary practices not visited by the field sales force; as well as provide support to the field sales reps on key veterinary practices accounts during peak sale periods i.e., launches or campaign activations.
- Partner with assigned sales territories to create business plans, nurture leads and execute strategies in targeted accounts for optimal customer satisfaction and sales growth.
- Leverage multi-channel approach to remotely engage specific customers with customised content and offers.
- Utilise CRM to identify customer opportunities to bring value and increase touchpoints.
- Handling of administrative salesforce functions including account maintenance, record maintenance/ updating records
- Continually demonstrate Customer Value Selling aptitude.
- Understand and display in-depth technical knowledge of Elanco’s product portfolio.
- Responsible for new product launches and brand initiatives in targeted accounts.
- Complete all sales objectives and key sales metrics.
- Attend all relevant sales, training and sales cycle meetings
**Requirements**:
- Associate Degree.
- Min. 1-5 years of sales experience in Pharmaceutical industry, preferably Animal Health.
- Willing to work for 1 year fixed duration contract.
**Additional Skills & Preferences**:
- Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) preferred.
- Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Nurse
- Intrinsic desire to be a part of a creative, collaborative and values-based team.
- Ability to identify and solve customer issues strategically through finding fit with Elanco organisational capabilities.
- Ability to provide previous successes involving creative customer solutions
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
**Additional Information**:
- Location - Sydney office based with flexible working arrangements or fully work from home.
- Current Australian Driving License
- In-depth knowledge of the Pet Health market, customers, and products.
- Capacity to thrive in a digital environment using MS Office, MS Teams, Outlook and Salesforce.
**Travel**:
- 05-10% (i.e., sales cycle meetings, company conference)
