We're recruiting a passionate Diploma Qualified educator for an early learning centre featuring a heritage single-story design. This centre in Engadine offers five spacious Montessori classrooms for children aged six weeks to six years. Each classroom is filled with unique educational resources that connect with children’s interests and needs at each stage of development to provide them with the optimal environment for learning. Beyond the classroom, are two exceptional outdoor play spaces enriched with a range of gross motor activities to inspire learning through exploration.

The centre’s philosophy is that the prepared environment is the ideal classroom for learning and that it activates a love of learning through curiosity, stability, and the freedom to choose. They view early education as an aid and a preparation for life. This guides their holistic approach to children’s learning and wellbeing.

**Your new role**

This heritage single-story centre is looking to welcome a passionate, caring, motivated, and reliable Diploma level Educator to join as a Room Leader in the Babies room. As a thriving Educator you will observe children’s interests, direct them towards activities suited to their stage of development, and create a positive atmosphere for learning that allows children to discover learning outcomes in their own time.

The centre values the importance of reflective practice and its ability to provide educators with ways to evaluate their practice, become more thoughtful about their work, and to motivate them to explore new ideas and approaches for the greater benefit of children’s education. Reflective practice promotes ongoing learning. By gathering information, they gain insights to support, inform and enrich decision making about children’s learning. The management continually seek ways to build professional knowledge and develop learning communities that share best practice.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Diploma Qualified.
- Current Working with Children Check
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
- First Aid Certification or willing to obtain one
- Strong understanding of the importance of family communications
- Commitment to the holistic development of their class.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
