We are currently seeking a certificate III OR Diploma of Early childhood education and care to work at an amazing Early Learning Centre based in Kogarah. This ELC is based in the TAFE and run alongside the AMEP Program (a free program for newly migrated adults in Australia) and they provide childcare for the children of these adults. St George TAFE have children's centre that provide a safe, positive, and inclusive learning programme. The centre fosters each child’s self-esteem by encouraging activities, based on their interests and development as individuals. TAFE NSW children’s centre achieves this by involving children in self-directed language, physical, social, and emotional, creative, and expressive developmental experiences. Parents can relax knowing that their child is learning and playing happily, allowing them to concentrate more easily on their studies and training.

**Your new role**

This fabulous centre prides itself on welcoming family atmosphere and is keen to welcome a passionate, and motivated Certificate III or Diploma educator to join a dedicated team in a part time role. As a compassionate and an understanding educator you will be working with families who have English as their second language. You will surely feel privileged to be working with beautiful young minds and actively support scaffolding their learning and development through quality interactions with peers, parents, and carers to gain an understanding of themselves, the world around them and their place in it. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will enjoy a deeply rewarding career where you can connect with young minds to inspire learning and growth.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Certificate III or Diploma (early childhood education) approved by ACECQA
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and professionals.
- Working knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
- Have two doses of approved COVID-19 vaccination, with the willingness to comply with additional health requirements (including booster shots)
- Excellent social and communication skills.
- Valid working with children's check and first aid desirable.
