**Requirements**:
**The Purpose**:
This role is all about providing efficient IT Procurement services aligned with organisational governance and ensuring our IT Asset Management practices deliver desired outcomes. A focus is on effectively identifying and managing risk; supporting seamless customer experience through proactively managing renewals; and reducing process friction so IT asset management is easier for everyone.

**Primary Accountabilities, Duties and Responsibilities**:
IT Procurement Management:

- Perform IT procurement activities such as sourcing, quotations, price negotiation, purchase order processing, ordering, tracking, delivery and reporting.
- Ensure software and hardware purchases are finalised on time and executed in line with AP+ policies.
- Develop and maintain documented standards and procedures for IT procurement that result in value for money outcomes and minimise risk.

Contract Management:

- Administer maintenance and support agreements across multiple vendors.
- Manage contracts to ensure compliance with organisational requirements.
- Provide operational support and advice in relation to IT contract management.

Asset Management:

- Maintain current, accurate and complete data holdings for IT assets using automated tools (e.g. ServiceNow) and manual processes.
- Assist with license reconciliations/baselines.
- Guide, assist and provide advice to team members in managing IT assets across the lifecycle, from receipt to disposal.

Vendor Management:

- Develop and maintain a preferred vendor database and ensure information is available to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with a range of vendors.
- Support rationalisation of vendor selection when required.

Process:

- Document processes and procedures.
- Identify and deliver improvements.
- Assist in monitoring and assessing process metrics and KPIs.

Reporting:

- Produce monthly reports on procurement and IT assets.
- Develop and maintain a reporting system for supplier performance
- Provide regular input into key performance metrics setting and performance review.

**We'd love to hear from you if have**:

- Excellent written & verbal communication skills and the confidence to liaise with vendors and across multiple levels of the organisation including interaction with senior leaders, business stakeholders and team members.
- Experience in IT procurement and contract administration.
- Demonstrated understanding of IT hardware and software asset management principles and methodologies.
- Experience gathering and transforming data, compiling information and preparing reports.
- Energy, organisation and highly developed time management skills, with an ability to juggle multiple tasks to deadlines.
- Ability to make sound administrative and procedural decisions and judgements aligned with agreed objectives.
- Experience with Service Now - including ITAM for both SAM and HAM, CMDB.
