**Your new role**

Reporting directly to the Senior Chemist, you will have an exciting opportunity to assist in the formulation of new products on a daily basis.

You will gain outstanding experience analysing QC data, assisting in the quality control process and ensuring all laboratory tasks are conducted safely.
- Carry ongoing review of new and alternate raw materials and production processes
- Establish production and quality control processes for new products
- Update relevant technical literature such as technical data sheets, technical training etc., ensuring all information is accurate
- Prepare and distribute written reports associated with work carried out
- Assist in the quality control process ensuring prompt and efficient testing programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing an action plan
- Provide technical support to customers, sales staff and marketing
- Analzye QC data, identify and review trends in results and conduct further investigation for improvement
- Monitor and action maintenance of equipment
- Update test methods, quality criteria and manufacturing instructions

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for interview for this role, you will need
- A degree/diploma in Science/Chemistry/Engineering
- Demonstrated people, verbal and written communication skills
- Numerical and computational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and organise work priorities

**What you'll get in return**

- $60,000 + super per annum + bonus/commission structure on top of your salary
