**Your new company**

You will be working for a state government organisation that is responsible for delivering essential services to the public. This organisation is undergoing a digital transformation program to improve its efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

**Your new role**

As a Test Manager, you will be leading a team of testers to ensure the quality and timeliness of the testing activities for various projects within the program. You will be responsible for creating and executing test strategies, test plans, test cases, test reports, and traceability matrices. You will also be managing the test environments, test data, test tools, and test resources. You will be collaborating with the project managers, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the testing requirements are met and the issues are resolved.

**What you’ll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in software testing & quality assurance, including experience testing products at all stages of their lifecycle (including appropriate health monitoring tests for operations)
- Demonstrated skills and experience developing test cases and acceptance criteria.
- Experience in the development of test strategies and frameworks for software development and implementation projects.
- Experience in mentoring technical and non-technical staff to understand their roles as part of a test strategy.
- Experience reporting and tracking bugs through software development management tools such as Jira.
- Stakeholder management experience including experience supporting diverse business stakeholders to successfully complete user acceptance testing
- An understanding of automated testing tools such as Selenium, Loadrunner etc is desirable
- Experience of security testing is desirable
- Experience in test driven development (TDD).
