**About the Role**

The department is responsible for supporting business in compliance with SOX for cooperate governance purpose. It also assists in reviewing and assessing company internal control systems to ensure they are working adequately, and company transactions are correctly recorded, and assets safeguarded. It is tasked with carrying out the audit for the operations & projects in order to minimize the risk to the company.

This is a Macquarie Park based role with hybrid work options and reports to the Internal Audit Assistant Manager.

Main duties include:

- Formulate and execute annual audit plan under supervision as per instruction of Audit & Risk Committee
- Help Audit Manager to execute annual SOX audit plan
- To Identify the gap between current SOX practice and SOX requirement according to the instruction
- Perform SOX process walkthroughs with control owners and document design and implementation of key controls according to SOX requirement
- Test SOX controls in line with defined testing methodology and ensure the firm is SOX compliant through reviewing policies and procedures and performing tests of controls
- Assisting in managing the SOX program, reporting findings, and following up on SOX findings in a timely manner
- Assisting to ensure the audit controls are in line with SOX requirements during the new ERP system changeover
- Assisting audit team to complete the Control Review and Process Map and Document preparation for SOX in new ERP system

**About You**

We are looking for someone with a strategic thinking approach while being able to work independently. Freshers with background in Accounting and Audit are welcome to apply. Skills and experience include:

- Tertiary qualifications in accounting or similar discipline
- Experience in accounting, finance or audit
- Great interpersonal skills
- Strong inter-personal, written and communication skills
- Ability to be flexible and able to cope with changes
- Advanced skills in Microsoft office
- Experience with Big 4 in Australia or overseas would be highly regarded
