Apex Steel has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join their head office in this newly created role, based in the Southeastern suburbs.

We are seeking a talented individual to fill this full-time role, who will have sound knowledge of HR principles and be able to integrate these into the business. They will be hands on and operational, and able to adapt to changes within a growing organisation. A key deliverable for this role will be the creation and implementation of HR policies and documentation to achieve consistency across all levels of the business. In addition to drafting company policy and procedure, this role will also be accountable for:

- Talent Acquisition & Employee Lifecycle Management
- Performance, Culture & Engagement
- Assisting with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS)
- Employee Relations, Policies, Procedures
- Learning and Development
- Delivering HR projects and improvement initiatives as required

In order to be successful in the role you will need:

- Prior experience in an HR generalist role preferably across multiple national sites/locations
- Working knowledge of employment legislation within manufacturing
- A solid understanding to Workplace Health & Safety procedures
- Relevant Business/HR tertiary qualification.
- Ability to influence operational management and key internal stakeholders.
