Indigeco group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager or CFO to join their finance team. As the CFO, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial guidance, driving profitability, providing analytical reporting & advice to the management team on how proposed business decisions might impact the business plans and growth.

The role oversees operations of the financial functions of the group’s entities. You’ll work with management teams from group businesses to build and grow highly effective departments, focused on compliance, and commercial growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of direct reports and finance department processes.
- Preparation and review of timely and accurate month end financial reports including monthly board reports.
- Preparation of weekly and monthly cash flow forecast.
- Ensure maintenance of accurate and up to date accounting systems and information.
- Manage year end audit process.
- Preparation of monthly and annual budget for the group.
- Assist in financial analysis and modelling to assist management team in business decision making.
- Ensure timely compliance with relevant statutory and group regulatory policies, (including annual accounts, audits, BAS, PAYG instalments, payroll tax, superannuation, Workers Compensation, AFSL, and bank covenants).
- Assist with various process improvement projects, including developing standard operating procedures.
- Planning for growth in line with business strategies.
- Commercial reviews and negotiations.
- Stay informed on industry trends.

**Requirements**:

- CA or CPA qualified.
- You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in management accounting roles, preferably with exposure to recruitment services.
- Have strong management and leadership skills with experience in creating and leading high performing teams.
- A solid grasp of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
- You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members.
- You should be self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- The ability to analyse financial data and solve complex problems.
