St Kevin’s College is a leading Catholic School in the Edmund Rice Tradition. We cater for boys from ELC to Year 12 with a current enrolment of 2100 students. The College is a member of the Associated Public Schools of Victoria (APS).
**About You**:
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to join our team. The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager reports to the Director of Governance and is responsible to ensure the workplace meets all legal expectations and actively supports the health, safety and wellbeing of all employees, students, volunteers and contractors.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement a health and safety management system in the workplace.
- Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and recommend suitable risk controls to allow adherence to the law.
- Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.
- Monitor and analyze health and safety data, including reported hazards, injury and illness reports, near miss reports, and safety performance metrics, to identify trends, assess performance, and recommend improvements.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and other external stakeholders to stay informed about regulatory changes, emerging risks, and best practices in health, safety, and wellbeing.
