As the Operational Officer you will provide efficient and effective linen service duties, including production and distribution of linen to Linen Service clients, achieving efficiency whilst maintaining a safe work environment and delivering a balanced workflow that will meet our customer requirements.
What you'll do
**You will**:
Feed linen into production equipment to fold and iron
Hand fold and pack clean linen
Have general cleaning duties, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, rubbish collection and removal in all areas of the facility
About you
**We are searching for someone who**:
Demonstrates ability to effectively use automated machinery and some computerised equipment
Has the ability to develop collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and team members and ability to effectively communicate and influence staff
**Please be aware this is a manual handling position requiring**:
repetitive manual handling of laundry items
feeding linen into machines
handling linen items
sorting soiled linen
This position will be rostered for 9.5 hours a day, 4 days a week over Monday to Saturday, including public holidays.
