Join our Group HSE Team for this Perth based, hands-on HSE role with a focus on transport and logistics.

You will be working with a highly customer focused team of up to 50 drivers/operatives on a customer owned site. This role requires the expertise of a self-aware, strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, who can continually drive safety in a positive direction through coaching and guidance and the implementation of our H&S Management plans.

**Key accountability and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:

- Take the lead in coaching and mentoring your stakeholder group on HSE strategies and activities.
- Implement the H&S management plan and be accountable for driving HSE improvements thorough audits, risk assessments, inspection, and management reviews.
- Deliver targeted training programs to develop HSE capability of the operational teams in a way that engages and influences the wider workforce.
- Conduct incident investigations to determine the cause of incidents and advise on corrective actions.
- Provide insight to the onsite customers and identify trends and risk through engagement with Operations team with a view to providing solution.
- Implement HSE training and communication programs.

**To be successful in this role, you will have Knowledge/Experience**:

- Cert IV or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
- 5+ years practical experience in a HSE role with a focus on transport and logistics in WA.
- Understanding of Heavy vehicle compliance in WA and HSE legislation, industry standards and management system standards.
- Excellent written and communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with fellow team members, management, stakeholders and customers.
- Competent computing skills, advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
