The Finance Analyst supports the Commercial Finance Team by supporting the Head of Commercial Finance to Business Partner the **Country Road **Brand. Delivering accurate and insightful reporting, analysis, and commentary on brand performance, profitability, expenses, and key financial metrics. The role involves providing detailed insights into brand vertical P&L, including monthly reporting and variance analysis against budget and forecast. Additionally, the Finance Analyst will assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and submissions to the Parent entity (WHL) /Board. A key focus of the role is working collaboratively with the Commercial Finance teams to enhance and streamline financial reporting processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Preparation of monthly management reporting, including Brand profit & loss packs and cost centre reporting.
- Financial analysis including commentaries on key driver variances and impacts on the business.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting process for CRG and preparation of budget/forecast submissions to WHL in the required format.
- Collaborate with Brand Commercial Finance teams to develop uniform forecasting processes, templates and reporting.
- Reconciliations between accounting ledger and trackers for key expense lines (mainly Marketing).
- Liaising and meeting with business on any business-related queries, including ad hoc, month end, coding, and HO employment.
- Engage with Senior Managers on financial issues, providing clear communication of financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

**Key Capabilities**
- Experience in a finance analyst role ideally within retail
- Solid accounting knowledge and understanding of financial principles.
- Experience in Business Partnering internal stakeholders to address financial queries and support business decisions.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and preparing financial submissions.
- Experience working with financial systems, preferably TM1/EPM or equivalent reporting/ forecasting tool.
