As a Support Worker at Blue Bird, you will assist individuals with day-to-day activities, including personal care, community access, social participation, and daily living skills. Your role is essential in helping our participants achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives.

Role Overview: As a Support Worker at Blue Bird, you will assist individuals with day-to-day activities, including personal care, community access, social participation, and daily living skills. Your role is essential in helping our participants achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide support with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Assist clients with accessing community activities and social engagements
- Promote independence by helping participants develop life skills
- Support clients with emotional and behavioural challenges
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and care provided Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential)
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or related field (or willingness to obtain)
- Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills
- Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply)
- Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle What We Offer:

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual

Pay: $30.60 - $49.74 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
