**THE ROLE**

Following significant growth in our Commercial Maintenance team, we are looking for an experienced and motivated **Lead Gardener** to join the team at our **Port Kennedy** depo.

As a Lead Gardener, you will have at least 3 years of relevant work experience and be able lead and mentor junior members of the team. Ideally, you will have a trade certificate in Horticulture or a related field, and a current manual driver's license (preferably MR or HR).

Some of the tasks you and your team will complete include:

- Turf maintenance (cylinder, rotary and ride-on mowing)
- Gardening duties (pruning, hedging, weeding etc.)
- Pest & disease control
- Irrigation maintenance
- Softscape upgrades

- An ability to communicate effectively with your colleagues, sub-contractors and clients.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- You must be physically fit and willing to work within our health and safety guidelines.
