Our client is a highly reputable, family-owned manufacturing organisation who are continuously experiencing stable growth. They are currently on the lookout for a seasoned export professional to join their passionate and dedicated team, in a supervisory position.

Working within a dedicated team environment you will assume responsibility for the coordination of international export documentation in this varied role.

This position will see you overseeing the entire export process including the coordination of shipments, preparation of export documents and contracts, and liaison with suppliers, clients and service providers.

**The responsibilities of the role include**:

- Obtaining product clearances from Quality Assurance
- Preparing and electronically submitting requests for export permits and health certificates
- Obtaining EDNs electronically
- Co-ordinating the loading of containers with warehouse and transport companies, and the lodging of PRAs once containers are loaded
- Co-ordinating delivery of cargo to freight forwarders to LCL or air-freight cargo
- Preparing the export documentation as required, including L/C and bank draft documents
- Liaising with shipping lines for B/Ls and freight invoices
- Lodging documents with bank - L/C and bank draft

**About you**:

- At least 5 years experience in an Export role
- Previous experience in agri-business / commodities industry (highly desired but not essential)
- Leadership experience or the willingness to lead a team
- Strong administrative background
- Intermediate - advanced MS Office skills (particularly Excel)
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- A proactive, can-do attitude
