**Job Description**:
As part of the Food and Lifestyle Events team at Nine, this Account Manager role will be responsible for directly supporting the Senior Business Development Manager and wider team in bringing the Sponsors deliverables to life during the term of the partnership. You will be responsible for onboarding and managing a large portfolio of Sponsors across Government agencies and commercial brands at all levels, ensuring the successful integration of partnerships so they both enhance our events while also meeting partner objectives and delivering ROI.

You will work closely with the Senior Business Development Manager to lead retention KPI’s and fostering ongoing Sponsor relationships.

**Your day-to-day duties include**:

- Pre-researching on new business opportunities, category trends proposal development and management from contracting to post event reporting.
- Identifying new opportunities to leverage for new and existing partnerships.
- Managing Sales Force, Prospector and other sales related systems.
- Playing a key role in the re-signing negotiations and contract renewals of key partners.
- Working closely with the Senior Business Development Manager to create strategies to service new and existing clients that meet objectives.
- Responsible for managing and facilitating sponsorship deliverables including at event hosting and partner activation management.
- Ensuring new partners are onboarded effectively with clear objectives and measurements of success outlined.
- Working closely with the Sales team to ensure a smooth Sales to Servicing Handover process.
- Liaising with multiple departments to ensure sponsor requirements and objectives are known and factored into event and marketing plans.
- Leading timelines and critical paths for partners so they are able to meet deadlines and leverage the partnerships.
- Overseeing campaign reporting for all Sponsors.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent customer service and relationship management experience.
- Experience creating strategies to obtain new clients (and service existing clients) while generating revenue opportunities.
- Experience developing and assisting with the improvement of 'best practice' across sales presentations and pitches.
- Experience in Events, with awareness across PR, Marketing and Operations.
- Proven project management skills, from inception to execution.
- Ability to adapt management and account management style to various clients.
- Strong communication and emotional intelligence skills with fine tuned negotiation skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and revenue targets with high attention to detail.
- Advanced computer literacy (Google Workspace and other presentation methods).
- Internal system knowledge (e.g., Prospector, Salesforce, etc.).
- Ability to work autonomously and with flexibility - **_this role will require some after hours work including evenings, weekend and interstate work, when events are live._**

Desirable skills/experience:

- Experience in digital and print media and awareness of trends are highly favourable
- Background in the events industry and a passion for the food and hospitality industry.
