The Development team is a flat, team-orientated and collaborative organisation that leads early-stage asset development and securing of revenue for projects and they are looking for a team member able to hit the ground running.

The Strategy Manager for Energy Storage Development will be responsible for initiating and augmenting storage development and strategy across a variety of markets. This work will be supported by the regional market leads, origination, policy and strategy, and investment analytics team and in conjunction with the broader energy storage and team.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead regional market strategy formulation and implementation for stand-alone and hybrid storage
- Contribute to analytical tool development and optimisation of storage related revenues.
- Inform site selection and greenfield development within select regional market
- Contribute to storage related policy initiatives in strategic the company markets
- Augment the storage technology and procurement strategy to meet the changing commercial and development needs
- Support project development teams in the advancement of hybrid and standalone storage projects
- Work in conjunction with development teams on valuation and acquisition of storage/solar assets
- Assist with the structuring and negotiating of storage services within PPA/off-take agreements

**Qualifications & Expertise**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- 5 + years’ experience in storage project development and storage/renewables strategy with a proven capability to understand technical products and firm understanding of energy markets
- Experience with utilities, Independent power producers (IPPs), EPCs, developers, and integrators;
- Solid understanding and ability to defend battery revenue streams and valuation
- Experience signing and negotiating PPA offtake agreements that include a substantial storage component
- Strong commercial experience in transaction execution, valuation and due diligence
- Proven commercial and negotiation skills, supported by a strong commercial skill set
- Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills
- Credibility and confidence to interact effectively with a wide range of senior people inside and outside of the organisation
