**The role**:
We are seeking a talented Design Coordinator to contribute to the delivery of robust and cost-effective designs for the North East Link South Alliance Project.

**Your impact**:
As the Design Coordinator, you will plan and control the delivery of project design ensuring the achievement of quality, completion and profit objectives for one of Victoria’s largest infrastructure projects**. It’s a chance to make a real difference.**

**Your every day**:
As Design Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

- Coordinating the interaction of project members in the design delivery process, including design, construction, planning and environmental resources.
- Monitor and evaluate the work of designers allocated to the project to ensure that their progress meets requirements.
- Assist in the design approval process by coordinating issue resolution.
- Assist with client and stakeholder expectation management and communicate effectively with the project team.
- Manage work and performance of subcontractors with design responsibility.
- Understand design compliance and reporting procedures and processes and provide leadership in the communication of project requirements.

**Who are you?**

***To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Ability to facilitate the resolution of any design issues from a technical and construction perspective.
- Good verbal communication and written skills
- Ability to build and maintain productive internal and external relationships to engage consultants and stakeholders and enable the effective delivery of project design services.
- Ability to drive performance within the design process to ensure design documentation is completed on time, to a high standard and fully integrated with reviewer’s feedback.
