**The Opportunity: Insurance Client Manager**

We are seeking a talented individual to join Aon Inpoint in Asia Pacific - based in Sydney - as a Manager.

The role will offer an opportunity to harness your client relationship management expertise, and insurance knowledge whilst working alongside a diverse and close-knit team.

We play a key role in helping to shape the future of the insurance industry. We help our clients navigate the fast-changing market environment to drive profitable and sustainable growth and business results. We have privileged access to Aon’s proprietary data and the knowledge of its global network of insurance industry experts to derive unique and compelling insights into the sources of advantage in the industry. Most importantly we help our clients turn insights into practical actions and tangible returns.

**What your day will look like**
- Managing and growing a portfolio of re/insurance clients based in APAC
- Developing deep and sustainable relationships with C-Suite client executives and other critical team members
- Engaging with clients to identify their strategic needs and priorities and develop potential solutions
- Manage delivery of agreed services in line with associated metrics and scorecards
- Building and developing existing client relationships as well as proactively developing new relationships and business development opportunities
- Quickly and efficiently leveraging an extensive global network of Aon colleagues, best practices and assets to generate compelling insights, analytics and strategic solutions
- Managing, coaching and supporting client delivery teams
- Actively contributing to building high performing teams, fostering a culture of development and learning to nurture talent
- Contributing to Aon Inpoint brand development through industry relationship building, thought leadership, whitepapers, conferences and presentations

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**

Demonstrating a track record of success, you will be curious, keen to learn and eager to challenge the status-quo with fact-based recommendations.
- Min 7 years experience working in (re)insurance or financial service industry
- Strong understanding of the insurance industry (both local & global)
- Proven track record in large global / complex client management and relationship building
- Experienced in managing complex stakeholder networks across multiple time zones and geographies
- Strong presentation, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Experienced at identifying growth opportunities and tailoring solutions to support
- Able to articulate the strategic view with detailed arguments and action plans
- Able to act with conviction and be a people-influencer with both C-suite leaders and operational teams
- Demonstrates personal qualities of planning, resolving problems, collaboration, and commitment to personal development
