**The role**:
We are currently seeking an experienced Associate with 2 to 4 years of post-admission experience to join our Intellectual Property team in Sydney either on a full time or part time basis. If successful, you will be working on contentious and non-contentious matters relating to trade marks, consumer law, advertising/marketing and trade promotion law, copyright, privacy, contractual and general commercial law.

**Your skills, experience & interest**:

- Litigation experience in relation to IP generally (and specifically trade marks), the Australian Consumer Law and passing off
- Reviewing and advising on terms and conditions for trade promotions
- Privacy law experience
- General contractual and commercial law experience
- Reviewing and advising on advertising and marketing claims

The successful applicant will also have:

- Specialist trade mark knowledge
- The ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Experience in dealing directly with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A desire to learn and be challenged and stimulated by their work
