Graduate Data Analyst

Our **Technology and Operations** business is the engine room of our organisation. We drive transformation of end-to-end customer experience while creating value through digitisation and technology innovation. Our Business-aligned technology teams work alongside each business to deliver on their strategic aspirations and operational requirements covering both policy and claims lifecyle.

We currently have a Graduate Data Analyst opportunity within our Operational Excellence domain. **Applications close 6 November 2024.**

**To be eligible for the Suncorp 2025 Graduate program you must have**:

- Full working rights in Australia or New Zealand
- Studied or studying at an Australian or New Zealand university
- Completed a minimum of undergraduate level study within the years 2022, 2023 and 2024. (Note: Students graduating after Feb 2025 should consider our Intern Program)
- Minimum 'pass' grade.

The program commences Tuesday 28 January 2025.

**What You'll Do**:
Our newly established Graduate Program offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in our project delivery team. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business and technical teams, actively supporting relationship building and requirements gathering.

This role is for a data-driven graduate eager to influence business decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract insights from complex data sets, develop reports, and provide actionable recommendations. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining dashboards to forecast and communicate trends and understanding team needs to deliver data-driven solutions.

Graduates with degrees in the following disciplines are encouraged to apply:

- **Technology & techniques**:

- SQL Development, Tableau, Cognos, R and other relevant scripting languages.
- **Analytics & Measurement**:

- basic data wrangling and manipulation techniques for downstream analytics. Understanding of principles of effective measurement techniques. Basic statistical techniques.
- **End-to-end Solution design**
