About the opportunity

The Graduate Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of Abacus financial data records, systems and processes. In this role you will partner with internal and external teams to obtain data requirements and deliver robust financial reporting.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Data Analytics

  • Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to ensure all data requests are delivered on time. Partner with SMEs to define data sets and ensure their business requirements are met.
  • Configure and execute data cleansing activities, monitor for variances, duplications and overall maintenance.
  • Ensure data import processes are followed and performed on time and accurately.
  • Review and provide feedback on data provided by various teams, conduct analysis and identify any risks or areas for further attention.
  • Provide data management and reporting to assist the business with understanding financial reporting requirements and frameworks.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and management of forecasting and business intelligence reporting using Anaplan.
  • Assist in the presentation of data and information for internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Support the team across a range of projects.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Mathematics or a related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
