**About the Role**

Opportunity to join the St Andrews Allied health team as an Allied Health Assistant. Casual roles available. Must have weekday and weekend availability. The role involves working to support the allied health team in caring for patients in both acute medical and surgical wards as well as the inpatient rehabilitation service.. You will provide both clinical and non-clinical support, working with Allied Health Professionals to ensure all patients receive high quality care.

**About You**

This role will suit an individual with experience in patient manual handling along with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Previous experience working within a hospital environment as an Allied health assistant or similar role is highly desired. The ability to communicate effectively will be key to your success in this role along with the ability to work effectively as part of a professional team.

**You will also bring;**
- Previous patient care experience
- A Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (Students currently completing a degree which will lead to qualification as an Allied Health Therapist will be considered.
- A desire to learn and a strong work ethic
- Weekend availability
- Currently completing an undergraduate allied health or health relevant university course will be highly regarded.
- Client-first attitude with a desire to assist our patients in obtaining the best possible outcomes for their health.
