GES Support Officer

**About Us**:
ABN AMRO Clearing is a global firm that provides an integrated suite of financial services to professional investors in the global financial market. Our core service offering consists of execution, clearing, financing, stock borrowing and lending, settlement and custody.

**Role Purpose**:
The purpose of this role is to provide support to our APAC client base using infrastructure to trade. You will set up new clients on trading systems and perform daily and monthly duties that enable the smooth running of the systems. This role sits within our Global Execution Services (GES) function and is a permanent full-time role.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Manage connectivity for supported trading systems by regular contact with system vendors, internal IT contacts and traders
- Trader administration including setting up new IDs, accounts, exchange registration and maintaining records
- Management of client trading activities including interaction with client orders and connectivity to markets
- Respond to client requests within the GES regional group inbox to achieve satisfactory resolutions
- Become a main point of contact for APAC exchanges on all market access related issues
- Record and produce accurate monthly billing data for Client invoicing
- Maintain knowledge on areas such as Risk Control, FIX connectivity, Order Management systems, regulatory requirements, traded products and connectivity requirements

**Role Requirements**:

- 5+ years relevant working experience within financial markets
- Good working knowledge of financial markets, regulations and trading practices
- Trading qualifications for listed exchanges as required for day-to-day management and administration of client trading activities
- Knowledge in TT/Itivit software, Bloomberg EMSX and FIX messaging
- Strong communication skills with ability to respond confidently to clients, cross-department queries and senior management
- Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Powerpoint) and Webex
