
Video and Ecommerce Commercial Specialist

**The Role**
The Video and eCommerce Commercial Specialist is responsible for the ongoing success of the digital ad product portfolio related to commercial video products. The role develops commercial video product strategies that maximise News Corp’s core strengths in market. The role also drives revenue through in-market representation and sales support.
- ** Strategic planning: c**reate a strategic sales roadmap, designed to maximize existing opportunities in market and unlock new ones
- ** Video Product Development**: collaborate on ideation, scoping, market validation and review of the Video Product development process, in conjunction with Digital Revenue team
- ** Sales enablement**: lead Video Product brief responses, developing actionable insights, sales proposals and packages for existing and new business opportunities, in order to deliver solutions and results for customers
- ** Thought leadership**: evangelise digital ad product portfolio internally by building and maintaining outstanding relationships with Sales
- ** Sales collateral**: assist with creation of best-in-class sales collateral relating to new product launches and iterations
- ** Business reporting**: provide a clear view of the drivers behind business performance through revenue reporting, aligning activity to deliver on growth objectives
- ** Market intelligence**: act as the market expert on digital video products, keeping up-to-date on trends that present opportunities to News
- ** Competitive analysis**: monitor competitive offerings to ensure we retain a product & service advantage
**Who You Are**
- Relevant experience in digital advertising sales, sales support or marketing
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate concerns and issues into implications and actions
- Customer advocacy, championing customer needs and insights throughout the business
- Ability to make recommendation on product investments based on customer feedback and market analysis
- Collaborative and able to drive multiple stakeholders to a solution within required timeframes
- Proactive with a capacity to determine what our clients need before they do
- Expert understanding of the digital advertising landscape, our competitive set, and our client base
- Experience dealing with back end ecommerce systems; both set-up and reporting
- Experience analysing ecommerce campaign results and generating insights for improvement
