As part of its Digital Strategy, the Supreme Court of Victoria (the Court) continues to embrace modern technology and the development of innovative approaches in order to deliver more efficient practices and processes. Digital Litigation Team was created for the purpose of supporting the judiciary, associates, practitioners and other Court users through the transition from paper-based litigation to eLitigation, to improve the capability and efficacy of eLitigation, and to encourage engagement with this mode of hearing. The Digital Litigation Team supports all Court users to engage with the upgraded technology available in the Court's eCourts, coordinating the practical arrangements of eTrials, management and support of the Court's eTrial support tools, manage civil transcript arrangements and to ensure the Court's Digital Litigation Program meets the evolving needs of the Court.
The Digital Litigation Team plays vital role in supporting virtual and hybrid hearings, livestreaming arrangements and any hearing requiring digital support across all divisions of the Court. About the Role The eCourt Operators are responsible for undertaking a variety crucial functions within the Digital Litigation team.
About the Role
The eCourt Operators are responsible for undertaking a variety of administrative and Court operational support functions within the Digital Litigation team. This role is also tasked with the role of using the Court's eTrial support tools to present electronic documents during eTrials. eCourt Operators work on-site to provide support for the practical and technical arrangements for virtual and hybrid hearings and assisting participants to connect to virtual hearing platforms.
