About the Role
**Digital and Business Operational Improvement**:
- Assist in managing small to medium projects related to digital transformation, including planning, execution, and evaluation phases.
- Aid in the deployment and integration of digital technologies within Court operations, diagnosing and resolving technical equipment issues. Foster the relationship between technology and business operations to ensure the seamless implementation and functioning of new digital technologies in both courtroom and administrative settings.
- Conduct regular data analysis and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of digital initiatives. Ensure the accuracy and compliance of digitised hearing records with established guidelines, maintaining them in a state ready for reporting.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices, including participation in business planning, responding to policy and process changes, and contributing to policy and procedure development.
**eCourt Support**:
- Support the Court Hearings Operations Coordinator in delivering a range of Digital Litigation services, ensuring service delivery standards are met.
- Provide initial advice and referral services to internal stakeholders, assisting in the preparation or presentation of cases within the scope of the Court's operations.
- Coordinate and support the practical and technical arrangements for virtual, hybrid, and in-person hearings, including assisting participants with connection to virtual platforms.
- Liaise with Judicial staff, Court staff and external stakeholders to support virtual, hybrid and in person hearings, eTrials, livestreaming, and transcript requirements, ensuring that the Court's digital initiatives meet evolving needs.
- Provide guidance and technical support to Court users on the Court's eTrial support tools, including the PRISM database, and assist in presenting electronic documents during eTrials.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in business improvement and process optimisation within a defined framework, preferably in a legal or government setting, with additional experience in a client-oriented or service industry environment being highly desirable.
- Advanced computer skills, including the ability to operate and maintain digital document management systems and virtual hearing platforms such as Webex and Zoom.
- Completion of or studying for business administration, law, legal related studies, or Certificate IV in Government Studies Court Services is desirable, but not mandatory.
