
Executive Assistant, Supreme Court of Victoria

The Supreme Court of Victoria is seeking an Executive Assistant to bring their high-level executive, administrative, and project support skills to Victoria's highest court. The Executive Assistant is a critical role in the Director's office, supporting the Director in the coordination of the portfolio operations and strategic work program, playing a key role in ensuring the efficient, effective and collaborative operations of the Director's office.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate experience in providing executive level, confidential support services to a senior executive and their team, ideally in a public sector environment. You will need to demonstrate the capacity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, exhibiting discretion, confidence and extensive organisational and communication skills.
The position is fixed term for approximately 18 months, at a VPS Grade 4 level located in the Melbourne CBD.
**Duties include**:
- Manage incoming queries with limited direction including providing timely and accurate advice and taking follow up actions as required such as correctly redirecting incoming queries as required.
- Identify and respond to opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of office processes and information systems for records management and work collegiately with peers across the court to maintain high standards of office administration.
- Support and demonstrate authority on Human Resources and Finance functions with activities pertaining to recruitment, processing invoices and budget management
- Undertake project work including providing expertise, preparing written correspondence that may be complex or drafting and implementing operational communication strategies, as requested by the Director, Registry Services and the Project Team.
