**Strategic Communications Officer**

Working in partnership with a Council in Melbourne's inner north, seeking an experienced Strategic Communications office to cover a period of leave. This opportunity will see you partnered with Council's Community Engagement team in providing Communications advice and delivery of content across news, social media, publications whilst providing strategy & advice along with some issue management.

**Key Requirements**:

- Experience in communications, including digital, media, issues management and strategie
- Demonstrated experience in recognising opportunity and interpreting high quality content for a range of different audiences
- Experience in working with a range of stakeholders
- A tertiary qualification in communications, digital communications, public relations, journalism, marketing and/or relevant experience in the corporate communications environment
- A current Working With Children Card or willingness to obtain
- A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
