Strategic Communication Professional

The role of Strategic Communication Professional involves collaborating with various business directorates to achieve strategic and operational priorities. This entails developing effective communication strategies to engage, inform, and inspire staff.

The successful candidate will prepare written communications, including newsletters, stories, social media content, and speeches. They will also support team leaders in improving communication channels and implementing innovative solutions to communicate business strategy, brand values, programs, and initiatives to staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop internal communication strategies to engage, inform, and inspire staff.
  • Prepare written communications, including newsletters, stories, social media content, and speeches.
  • Improve communication channels by supporting team leaders.
  • Implement innovative solutions to communicate business strategy, brand values, programs, and initiatives to staff.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a communications role with prior experience in internal communications and employee engagement.
  • Proven track record of developing change and communication solutions.
  • Exemplary written, verbal, and advisory skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism, or a relevant degree.
  • Demonstrated competency in using Microsoft and other communications tools for internal communications.
