Strategic Communications Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Business Partner to join our team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to support the organisation's strategic plan through effective communication.

The ideal candidate will work closely with various business directorates to achieve their strategic and operational priorities. You will be responsible for developing internal communication strategies, creating engaging content, and improving communication channels.

This role requires excellent written, verbal, and advisory skills. You must have a strong attention to detail and be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to engage, inform, and inspire staff.
  • Create high-quality content, including newsletters, stories, social media posts, and speeches.
  • Support team leaders with continuous improvement and monitor the effectiveness of communication channels.
  • Implement innovative solutions to communicate business strategy, brand values, programs, and initiatives to staff.
  • Collaborate with business clients and leadership to monitor employee engagement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in a communications role, with prior experience in internal communications and employee engagement.
  • Exemplary written, verbal, and advisory skills.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated competency in using Microsoft and other communications tools for internal communications.
