Docklands, Australia Medibank Full time

**You’re only human.**

It’s a strange thing to say, because us humans are capable of incredible things. And at Medibank, we know our greatest potential lies in the people who work with us.

We strive to make real, fundamental change, driven by a simple purpose: to create the best health and wellbeing for all of Australia.

**The Opportunity**

We have big goals here at Medibank, we’re looking for an experienced and professional Employee Communications and Change Partner to join our tight-knit, collaborative team on a 13-month contract. You’ll help us work towards our 2030 vision. What’s that, you ask? It’s simple - the best health and wellbeing for Australia.

This is a unique opportunity to work across a broad mix of business portfolios. Our Partners aren’t assigned to a single area, so you’ll get exposure to a diverse range of functions, initiatives and stakeholders across Medibank.

You’ll also lead communication strategies that support the launch and embedding of a range of internal programs, campaigns and employee lifecycle activities. Your work will help shape how our people connect with Medibank’s purpose, navigate change, and feel informed and empowered every day.

**Day to day, you’ll**:

- Choose to work from wherever makes the most sense for your day, whether that’s home or the office, based on what you need to get done, who you’re working with, and how you work best. At Medibank, we don’t mandate office attendance days.
- Curate and embed enterprise news into communications, creating a strong line of sight between business unit activity and the organisation’s purpose, vision, strategy, and culture
- Advise senior leaders, including the Group Executive team, with insights and recommendations to refine engagement approaches and improve communication effectiveness
- Act as a trusted communication advisor, supporting all stakeholders, and working groups on day-to-day messaging challenges
- Share campaign metrics and insights that enable stakeholders to understand and continuously improve the effectiveness of their communication plans
- Adapt and pivot when required to ensure campaigns are effective and engaging for our employees
- Taking time out to recharge - you might hit the pavement for a walking meeting with a colleague, pop out to a lunchtime gym class or take a mid morning meditation break

**Our culture and ways of working**

At Medibank, health and wellbeing aren’t just part of our purpose, they’re part of how we work. For us, this means flexible work and continuous improvement to our ways of working.

You’ll be joining a supportive team that values creativity, collaboration, and shared success. We work together, learn from each other, and celebrate wins, big and small. You’ll have opportunities to stretch your skills, contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives, and build strong relationships across the business.

**What do we need from you?**

First and foremost, you’re passionate about great communications and change management. The idea of working across a range of business functions will really excite you. You’ll be an experienced professional, with good business acumen and a breadth of experience working across corporate communications, issues management and stakeholder engagement with both senior stakeholders and employee groups. You’ll be a real people person with a knack for building effective, positive working relationships. In regards to technical skills, experience with platforms like Sharepoint, Office 365, Viva Engage, Swoop and Bananatag will be highly regarded.

**Imagine working with us**

We understand that work means different things to everyone... We know happy, healthy people make great teams, and great teams put more heart into each customer and patient interaction. And that’s why we’re reinventing work.

Imagine a workplace where work didn't feel like work. A workplace where you could shape when and where you work to have more impact. Where flexible working isn’t a buzzword, it’s a reality.

For you, work should help you Live Better. It should bring you fulfillment and joy. And with Medibank, it could.
