**About the Position**

Due to an internal secondment within the Community Safety and Rangers team, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Parking Compliance Officer to join our friendly team. The Parking Compliance Officer role is integral to ensuring the provision of a safe and equitable parking experience for the City of Cockburn's road transport network users. Responsibilities of the position include:

- Patrol of streets and car parks using License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology.
- Issuing cautions and infringements or other corrective action for parking non-compliance to ensure fair and safe use of parking facilities.
- Respond to parking queries, provide advice and assistance to the community, and investigate complaints

**About You**

You will have the ability to interpret local laws and regulations gained from your previous experience in a local government parking enforcement or similar compliance role, and will possess ROCS 1 & 2 qualifcation or above. You will have highly developed conflict resolution and problem solving skills, excellent time management and the ability to deliver excellent customer service to a diverse community. The role requires you to possess a high level of integrity and the ability to work with limited supervision.

**Salary**: $82,049 - $87,516 per annum (plus super) depending on qualifications and relevant experience.

**Hours**: 0730 - 1630 Monday to Friday, with a fortnightly RDO. During peak periods or for special events, some weekend work may be required (penalty rates apply).
