**About the role**:
Reporting to the Civil Infrastructure Coordinator, the Civil Infrastructure Technical Officer is responsible for ensuring the completion of civil engineering projects within the allotted time frame and to the agreed cost and high standard commensurate with Council’s corporate goals, community and customer expectations. It will also ensure all works completed in the City are to correct specifications.

**Hours**: 76 hours per fortnight
**Salary**: Level 5 - $90,331 to $95,827 - per annum, depending on skills and experience.
**About YOU**
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Formal qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar extensive experience.
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and construction plans.
- Knowledge of the Institute Public Works Engineering Association (IPWEA) subdivision guidelines and specifications.
- Civil infrastructure construction and maintenance experience in local government preferred.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with proven ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes.
- Knowledge of Work, Health and Safety legislation.
