Our client, a leading civil contractor in Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join their team for a range of exciting new local projects worth a combined value of $70M across civil and rail environments.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Working with the Supervisor to ensure smooth running of the site personnel, upholding site safety and the completion of assigned tasks
- Allocate resources, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to meet project deadlines
- Reading, interpreting and communicating engineering objectives
- Conduct regular inspections, identify any defects or deviations from specifications
- General site operating if required using a range of plant equipment

**Experience**:

- Experience in subdivisions is highly advantageous
- Proven track record of overseeing successful civil, roads or subdivisions projects
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, stakeholders and the project team
- Passion for delivering successful projects
