**About the role**
The role will lead a team of Technical Authors that design, create, and review content, including knowledge management for the Company; ensuring global standards are met. The person will be both reactive and proactive, building relationships with key stakeholders globally, to achieve the desired outcomes for technical content.
- Manage the TA Team’s workload and performance
- Function as the point of contact in the TA Team for the company
- Lead initiatives for Document Management System (DMS) improvements and adoption of suitable tools for driving efficiency improvements to the TA function
- Lead the development and deployment of new DMS and CMS
- Inform the business with updates about documentation issues/news/processes.
- Conduct research, evaluate and provide recommendations as required
- Perform training sessions on documentation processes to the business as required.
- Make decisions on the TA Team’s standards and procedures
- Communicate complex information about a topic in a clear and concise manner
- Design/create and/or perform editorial reviews of processes, policies, procedures, business, and product documentation as required.
- Ensure documentation follows the correct process for review and sign-off based on whether it is a controlled or non-controlled document.
- Ensure content adheres to the correct styles and format.
- Collaborate with SMEs for information gathering, review, and sign-off.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings as required.
- Liaise with all clients/stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner with a view to improving Tritium’s reputation within the industry and increasing business opportunities.

**About you**
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team to deliver successfully against targets.
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
- Strong energy and enthusiasm for designing, creating, and continual improvement of content to meet content design principles and User Experience UX).
- Ability to coordinate across departments to accomplish collaborative goals.
- Proven ability to quickly establish productive working relationships with stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Senior Technical Writer with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
- Excellent technical writing skills and an ability to make complex topics clear and engaging.
- Sound knowledge of content design principles, usability, and UX.
- Experience with and passion for guiding change and continual improvement.
- Knowledge and understanding of project management processes and methodologies.
- Assisting with Company process and business improvement.
- Advanced user of MS Office products and competent with business IT tools (JIRA, SharePoint).
- Degree in writing, editing, or Communications Design a plus.
