- As State Manager, you will be spearheading pathology operations across **Victoria**. You will be managing 6 direct reports - Area Managers, with an indirect remit of 1000+ staff.- Your role will involve leading with purpose as your advocate for your teams, foster great people & culture incentives such as reward and recognition programs, and lead digital and cultural transformation through impactful communication and non-hierarchical leadership.- A core part of this role will also involve driving revenue growth, working closely with the commercial teams and delivering innovative solutions for network optimisation and market share growth.- Your day to day will involve strategic decision-making across a complex operational environment, working closely with the GM of Pathology Collections, the commercial team and Area Managers.**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Working closely with the General Manager of Collections to execute strategy and operating plans
- Providing leadership in operational outcomes to meet the needs and expectations of patients, employees and practitioners as well as other relevant stakeholders
- Identifying areas for operational improvement and collaborating with the transformation team to implement
- Oversight of staff engagement and development strategies
- Providing reporting and insight to senior management on pathology collections performance
- Collaborating with other leaders across the enterprise to ensure end-to-end processes meet desired performance objectives at both a national and local level
