We are seeking a Peer Support Program Coordinator to lead, centrally coordinate and manage the State-wide service delivery of our valued and well-established Peer Support Program for the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) membership (staff and volunteers).
The RFS Peer Support Program is integral in our stepped care approach to wellbeing support, complementing our other pathways to care from the Mental Health Services team. The Peer Support Program is currently undergoing expansion and enhancement, targeting significant growth over the next five years and the Peer Support Program Coordinator will be integral in leading and oversighting this work.
- High level communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills in liaising with key stakeholders to negotiate successful outcomes on sensitive and complex issues
- Program management and coordination with strong organisational, leadership and administrative skills
- Successful management of competing demands in a high-volume work environment (preferably in emergency services or in the provision of wellbeing / peer support).
