**Fabrication Workshop Supervisor**

**Fastrak **are currently seeking a Fabrication Workshop Supervisor.

**About the role**

The Fabrication Workshop Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Workshop manufacturing facility. They are responsible for supervising the shop floor, supervising employees, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. They will be tasked to supervise, co-ordinate and schedule fabrication projects throughout the workshop in a safe & productive manner, in accordance with our clients policies & procedures.

**Skills and experience**
- Supervisory experience 3 - 5 years
- Proven experience supervising and leading up to between 25 to 40 personnel in a Fabrication Workshop setting
- Computer literate and competent in the use of the Microsoft suite etc.
- Manufacturing and Mining Background will be highly beneficial.
- Trade Qualification in the Fabrication Trade or Equivalent.
- Excellent Written and Oral communications Skills.
- Must be able to read and interpret fabrication drawings, Schematics, plans and understand weld symbols.
- Must have an excellent attitude towards safety and be able to promote a safe workplace culture
- Must have a current driver’s license and reliable transport
- AS1796 Cert 10 and/or equivalent welding qualification (Desirable)
