**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic **Casual **Exercise Physiologist (EP) - Grade 1 or 2** to join the team at Northern Health.

The **Grade 1 or 2 Exercise Physiologist **will work predominantly in the **Community Therapy Services (CTS) **providing centre and home/community based interventions using an interdisciplinary approach.

The exercise physiologist is responsible for the delivery of quality exercise physiotherapy services in the assigned work areas. Areas of work may include: clients in the Commonwealth Home Support Package (CHSP) population (people aged 65 or over) as well as clients under 65 years old based in the Sub-Acute Ambulatory Services (SACS) providing** **rehabilitation to clients following a recent event resulting in jury, hospitalisation or recovering from illness.

Responsibilities of the role include completing comprehensive interdisciplinary assessment to determine clients’ needs and providing appropriate management plan. Mode of delivery of care may be 1:1 centre based, home/community based, telehealth or the running of various groups.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Accreditation in Exercise Physiology with ESSA
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution
- Commitment to health promotion and health independence
- Demonstrated knowledge in planning, implementation and evaluation of exercise programs
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
