**What You Will Be Doing**
The Exercise Physiologist will work with the Intensive Recovery Team (IRT) and their community client cohort. IRT is a multidisciplinary community mental health team which provides intensive mental health interventions to community mental health clients via an assertive outreach model. Our clients present with multiple and complex comorbidities and are at risk of recurring acute mental health episodes and associated acute admissions. The Exercise Physiologist will support clients to improve their physical health activity and overall physical wellbeing.
**What You Need**
We anticipate you will have:
- Current accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA) with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a qualified Exercise Physiologist
- Experience working in a health care setting
- Demonstrated capacity to develop, facilitate and supervise group exercises for clients living with mental illness.
- Health coaching and/or motivational interviewing training and experience
- Victorian Driver’s license
