The opportunity
Our Environment and Sustainability team in Victoria is recruiting for a Senior Environmental Planner to join our growing team in Melbourne.

You would be part of our multi-disciplinary environment & sustainability team, which covers all aspects of environmental assessment, monitoring and permitting, carbon management, climate resilience, sustainable building and infrastructure design, strategic planning, corporate sustainability reporting and strategy development.
Role Specific Duties:
- Provide environmental planning and regulatory advice to clients
- Oversee and undertake the preparation of environmental approvals and planning assessments, feasibility studies, permitting and licensing documentation and support the development of technical assessments, management plans and other documents to a high standard.
- Help drive the growth of strategic planning and precinct planning.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the planning team
- Manage and/or liaise with environment consultants and other planning consultants, to ensure successful delivery of a project
- Work collaboratively as part of an integrated advisory sector and across project teams.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the development of proposals and bid submissions.
- What can you bring to the team?
- Relevant Tertiary qualification in Town/Urban Planning, or related field is essential.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in statutory and strategic planning, environmental and planning approvals, and planning permits.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Victorian planning and approvals process and legislation, relevant to infrastructure projects.
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Be enthusiastic about being part of a growing team and providing excellent outcomes for clients
